Man Critically Injured in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident

Anyone who has spent time walking and/or driving in Las Vegas understands that doing so anywhere near downtown can be hazardous for obvious reasons.  Everyone needs to follow relevant traffic laws or disaster can soon unfold.  While it’s too early to know exactly what occurred on Wednesday, what is known is that a man was critically injured in a Las Vegas pedestrian accident after being hit by the driver of a sedan.  Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

According to the authorities, this Las Vegas pedestrian accident occurred on Wednesday morning at approximately 11:40 a.m.  An unidentified man was walking in the 700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North near East Bonanza Road.  At that point, he was hit by the vehicle and badly injured.  He was rushed to a nearby hospital and was described as being in critical condition.  Police have not yet determined whether or not the man was in the crosswalk, nor have they determined which party had the right-of-way.
