Woman Hit and Critically Injured in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident

According to the authorities, this Las Vegas pedestrian accident occurred yesterday at approximately 4 p.m.  An unidentified 37-year-old woman was attempting to cross the street on Blue Diamond Road in a crosswalk at the intersection with South Dean Martin Drive.  The driver of a Toyota sedan collided with the woman, and early reports indicate that the driver was moving along at the speed limit.  The woman who was hit was rushed to a nearby hospital, and police continue to investigate the situation.
