Woman Killed in Las Vegas Car Accident After Man Allegedly Runs Through Red Light

According to the authorities, this fatal Las Vegas car accident occurred on Saturday morning at approximately 11 a.m. An 82-year-old woman was driving on North Grand Canyon Drive when suddenly, a 22-year-old male motorist who was moving in a westbound direction on Cheyenne Avenue slammed into her.  Witnesses stated that the man had run through a red light at the intersection.  The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital with critical injuries but she did not survive the crash.
